I remember as kid I went to see an uncle who had a cabin in the Rockies. We were to meet him in a small town (at the time anyways) called Pitkin, CO. We arrived early and our uncle had not arrived yet. A friend of his said he'd take us to his cabin which required a 4X4 to get to. He had a Ford 4X4. It never made it. We returned to Pitkin where our uncle was waiting with his Scout 4X4. The Scout had no problem navigating the trail to his cabin. Since then I have been a big fan of the Scout. Great site & pics. Thanks!
